It was s a great Saturday weather, got invited to a yard party: it is nice to see that there is purple flowers also this time of the year. Hope we have "short" winter before Jacarandas will start blooming again!
During last couple of weeks we have been working to solve the overcharging issue. The situation is getting better all the time: we sat down with the channel, press and ourselves to find reasonable solutions to stop such a bad experience. As a result, we changed the dealership and comission structure plus focused on authorized dealers and POS to help you to have fixed prices. Now we have some 4000 aouthorized dealers who understand the issue from customer point of view. On top of that, there are some 40.000 kiosks and some of them might ask some extra rupiees but again, it is up to you if you want to pay some extra for convenience. I do understand that Nepal is difficult country in geographical terms and if you want to recharge at Annapurna trek for instance, it is pretty ok to give a 5-10 Rupie tip. But those 4000 aouthorized POS should now solve the problem in recidential areas. By the way, we terminated some 200 of them who did not want to follow our advice on good customer experience. Thank you all for your support and beeing our mystery shoppers. Please find an article for the same at Republica.

It would be nice to hear your feed back if things are now getting ok.
Be ready for the New Year Offer!

Pasi

Dear Pasi,
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the effort that ncell is putting in controlling the overcharging issue.
If i am correct, ncell channel goes like 5 distributors, around 100 dealers and over 4000 point of sales plus 40000 or more recharge sellers.
Why dont the comapany comes out with their price structure(distributors-dealer-pos),including commission, you could publish in national dailies, like surya tobacco, liquor companies and other big companies does.
regards.
Well done pasi on solving overcharging problem. but will have to see is it really solved or not. And want to ask you that is the new year offer is on internet? it would be better if it is on internet like it was in dashain and tihar. it would be rather better to have offer for internet and mobile GSM users because i think in such an especial occasion all the people should be benifited either GSM users or internet users...
ReplyDeleteI feel glad that i am connected with world class network that is Ncell. I like its most of the services like Sim sim offer of 50 paisa per min call. And its speed internet. The only thing i have complain about it is its data rate. It would be nice if ncell would provide 50gb data in data sim in current price of 20gb. I mean 50gb at 3999. Coz while surfing net in laptop data uses is 400mb to 500mb per day normally. Hope that the offer lyk that would comes. Besides Ncell is really here for Nepal.
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
ReplyDeleteAs you have mentioned Annapurna trek, the network coverage for the trek to Base Camp is very bad experience. While the NT has quite the signal at most of the trek path.
Thanks.
Dear Pasi,
ReplyDeleteWhy is there no photocopy machine in your Ncell Center in New Road?
I went there to get a SIM card and I couldn't find a photocopy place in a 500 m radius around your ncell center.
Please put a photocopy machine.
Dear pasi,
ReplyDeleteearlier they used to take rs105 and now rs102 for rs100 recharge. All u have done is reduced rs 3.
so better dont say overcharging is gettin over
Hi Pasi,
ReplyDeleteI have always been waiting for exciting offers in festival seasons. In this new year you have provided schemes for both new as well as old suscribers. In some where it is Good. But Why are you charging for bonous that you have given us as new year bonous.I think charging for bonous is not a good idea. And I am really Tired of these bonous schemes. We really want something new n exciting offers.
And Finally, Merry Christmas And Happy NEW YEAY 2012 to you,Your Family And Whole Ncell Family.
Hope this upcoming year we can get something new.
My old bad experience repeated yesterday too. I had gone Kalanki(Kathmandu) and asked for the card of 100, the shop was asking me for extra 5Rs. I said "No I don't pay, if I get the balance of 98.04 from this card, why should i need to pay extra 5Rs?" The Shopkeeper replied me- " You better go Krishna Tower to get the card at the price you said,we are not here to serve you for free, we can't sell the card at the price we purchase". I searched Ncell Shop over there, but i couldn't find. Finally, I saw a large board near the shop where was written " Ncell Sim and Reachare Cards are available here". Then i ran towards the shop and asked for the card of 100, and the replay of the shopkeeper was " I don't have the card but you may charge your account from VFT transfer". I said "Okey, let you transfer me Rs100" and gave 100Rs cash. then again the man asked for extra 5Rs. Then i really really disappointed with Ncell and charged my account with 15Rs paying 20Rs. I don't know why you are saying "Overcharging is getting over".......
ReplyDeleteFor the kind information the VFT number of that shop is 9802285380. Now, let me see whether you take a necessary action to that shopkeeper or not!!
Thanks!
Ncell tower is really worse here in kritipur. Solve the problem of no network at evening. And even when there is network we have to try more than 25 time to call
ReplyDeletewell best network in nepal so far in terms of quality....i must admit.....but not much cost efficient.....data prices are way too high!!!! Plz bring packages like this in data sim from upcoming year 2012****500MB @Rs. 199 5 GB @Rs. 999 20 GB @Rs. 1999 50 GB @Rs. 2999 100 GB @Rs. 3999 Better remove packages of 1gb and 10gb. The above mentioned packages will suit need of every level of user. Genuine suggestions from ur valued customer........
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous from Kirtipur: please give your location and contact details to complaintresolution@ncell.com.np. Otherwise we cannot locate your problem, site and your other circumstances like house, buildings around, distance to tower etc.
ReplyDeleteRegards,
Pasi
Overcharging in VFT is common also in Itahari. New everest communication in Itahari is the only ncell shop that provides recharge cards in MRP and VFT without any extra charges. This is the best ncell shop in Itahari.
ReplyDelete@Saroj Baral, it seems to be very worse condition over there in the capital city. Here in Janakpur if user recharge through VFT then upto Rs.50 they take Rs.2 change.
ReplyDeletetoday in kalanki i didn't get any reecharge card of ncell.then i heard that dealers have stop to sell the ncell cards due to comission problems.tell me pasi when we will get the reecharge of ncell easily.
ReplyDeletePasi,
ReplyDeleteI can't find recharge card anywhere in Pokhara. I went to buy recharge cards under the boards labelled "recharge & sim available". When I ask them they say that it is because the commission is very low. Also why is the ncell center so far away from center of the city? I had to drive about 10 km to get to your ncell center and buy recharge card. why can't you give same commision to all of them?
Signal seems to be a problem. My wife got a ncell last week so that she could use bbm and call me in North America. Sent a query regarding calling North America and haven't got back yet. Its already been 24 hours.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of few glitches, very impressed with the service we got at nCell store.
Anonymous, what is bbm? And for everyone, please define your exact problem so our people can help you.
ReplyDeleteDear Ramesh,
ReplyDeletethank you for your comment. The point of sales get their commission from dealers according our channel agreements.
Regards,
Pasi
No ncell recharge found in the market. Now i think we should use ntc. Ncell too costly in call, sms, data but ntc is cheap. Ncell didn't decrease its any tariff on the new year offer
ReplyDeleteDear Pasi Sir, bbm means blackberry messenger.
ReplyDeletepasi, why no cards available in market?
ReplyDeleteDear Shekhar,
ReplyDeleteyour issue will be taken care by our service team.
Regards,
Pasi
Dear Bikram,
ReplyDeletethank you for your comment. Today, our commission structure was published in national dailies. There ar cards available, some the kiosks will not want to do business with selling them. Please use our authorized POS, there are 4000 of them all over Nepal.
Regards,
Pasi
Sir,
ReplyDeleteAzercell provides 15 GB package at 30AZN=3277NRS, but the Speed goes upto 21Mbps. You are just providing 7.2 Mbps in Kathmandu which is 3 times less than the speed provided by your sister company, You always compare your speed with the speed of NTC. "double price for five times more speed is a pretty fair" This is the words of you said when I talked about your data tariff comparing with NTC. Now you better calculate how much cost should be paid for the package of 20GB with speed of 7.2 Mbps and 3.4 Mbps respectively???????
Regards
Saroj
i just bought 50 rs card for 55 rs in a small shop just opp the krishna tower office. I was in hurry so just took it. I don't think overcharging is over.
ReplyDeleteDear Sir,
ReplyDeleteI did not fine any other place for suggestion. So, its here.
Google is running new project to send SMS to mobile devices using gmail. Google has initiated it in many countries. So if this feature is available in Ncell. Corporate level costumers will be benefited and attracted to NCELL. http://support.google.com/chat//bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=164876
i had many time suffed a problem using ncell. Whenever i try to call my voice is clearly heard by the receiver and i can't hear the voice and it comes lyke disturbing sound and when i cut the call and try 2nd call every thing become fine. So many time the charge of 1st call is a waste. So ncell need to solve this problem. Its not just my problem its of all so dont just ask my number but solve the matter. It wud b nice if we just have to pay per second.
ReplyDeleteDear pasi
ReplyDeleteI am selling your card in MRP but unauthorize shop to sell Ncell card take from me and they sell card's in +5. In this way how cann you control them. I have not given cards in bulk but they take some 3-5 cards at a time and sell by taking extra 2-5 rs in each card. My delalers says if cards taken by me is overcharged then my all cards will be block. In this context how can i sell. Suggest me what to do. And you have not provided us publicity material for MRP
Dear Pasi, please reduce little data charges. It is too costly to use it with built in facebook, myspace, orkut integration in my cell phone. If you can provide Rs.2/MB in Data SIM then you can also provide Rs.4/MB in Normal SIM. This will not affect your business. Please try to understand our feelings and emotions. Everything is perfect except tariff in Ncell. Please think this matter. No need to publish this. This is just a message for you.
ReplyDeletewhat the hell is going on i went to ncell customer care today to buy recharge card. As there is a shortage of cards in market i thought to take 4 cards for my family members too. And the staff was arguing me why 4 we can't provide u 4 cards at a time. What the carb is that. For buying cards also u need to ask in that way. I am really angry with that staff. Dont try to b over smart
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous, please do not sell in bulk. Let's make a favour for Nepali people and stop this is issue of over charging.
ReplyDeleteRegards,
Pasi
Dear Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteyou can already send web sms from Ncell E-care. Log in at our web page please.
regards,
Pasi
Dear Saroj,
ReplyDeletethank you for your comment. Azecell just got their 3G lisence and there is a huge purchasing power there. Comparing Azerbaijan and Nepal is not apple to apple.

Pasi

ReplyDeletePasi, why you not sell cards in villages anymore? you know there is no POS in villages only tower.
ReplyDeleteIf Ncell Card Not available with Same Commission with Ntc and Utl Ncell Market Going Down
ReplyDeleteDear Badri,
ReplyDeletewhat is the village name and district? We have more than 40.000 POS nationwide.

Pasi

ReplyDeleteRegards,
thnx,,,4 ur contribution for nepal..but some staff dnt know how to speak with customer in 9005 ,,so i request u to spy the undiscipline guy,,thanku
ReplyDeleteWhy does your recorded messages say "Subscriber is unavailable" when actually s/he has switched the phone off. I think you should change it so I don't keep on dialing the switched-off phone till my battery runs out.
ReplyDeleteSanjog.+
Your recorded mesages should be changed from "the subscriber is unavailable" to the "the phone is switched off" so that people know the actual status of the Ncell number you are dialing and save time and battery on redials.
