Network problem

We had a signaling problem due to malfunction in IP network.

Effects:

1. Network was fluctuating in some parts of the country
2. Everything is working normally now
3. Data was not affected

The problem existed at about 5:30 pm, until 8:10 pm today.

I'm really sorry for the inconvenience caused to our valued customers.

Regards,

Pasi

  2. Dear pasi
Little bit of unavoidable technical problem is accepted n is no big deal if early intervention n immediate repair is done. I m dat da network problem is fixed now. On top of everything, an apology comming from da ceo himself carry da true value of coustmer care dat Ncell proudly boasts of. I m glad to b a part of Ncell family. Long live Ncell.

  3. Dear Pasi,
I'm a student and I stayed in line in Krishna Tower for the Re 1 ZTE connect and bought it. However after the balance was over it felt very expensive to recharge it. I really wished there was a way to subsidize the connect tarrifs for students like me.
    I will await your response.

    Thank you

  4. dear Pasi, i can't understand that in ecare the price of 50gb (50000mb) data is 8999rs and 5000mb data also 8999rs whats that plz make clear about it. If 50000mb (5gb) can be subscribed at 8999rs then 5000 mb must b available at 899rs to 1000rs.

Kindly implement per sec billing in your next generation system for both domestic and international calls so that we benefit. We want to pay for the seconds we call and data we surf.

  9. Dear Roshan,
thank you for your comment the balance that you get to our account is 100 NPR minus the withholding tax to the government of Nepal. Please do not pay more than 100 for your card, you don't need to!
    regards,
    Pasi

  10. Dear Bimal,
thank you for your comment. We are working on pricing too. We also add almost 200 more 3G sites in next coming months. Once the upgrade is done, we have more capacity to sell. If we reduce prices now, the usage would explode and quality would go down.
    regards,
    Pasi

  11. Dear Pasi,
you mentioned that you are adding 200 more 3G sites so, is that site in kathmandu valley or outside the valley?? I want to know this because i think there are already enough 3G coverage in kathmandu and there is the problem with ncell internt when we travel outside kathmandu...

  12. Sir, I kindly request you for introducing persecond billing system. Because your system bills 1 or 2 seconds more than the real time. I also had read your article named 'Signaling Issue' and at that time i'd little convinced as well. You blame to the ZTE equipments. But now I totally disagree with you. Because its not the natural delay of ZTE but may be of your billing software. Recently i visited more than 70 NT sites and also got the chance to know about its switching system and its billing system as well. In most of the places NT is using the equipments from ZTE. Although NT bills for the very real time! If you don't believe, take a try yourself,or give me a chance to show a demostration. If the problem is due to ZTE, why NT bills for the real time and you bill after some seconds???
Therefore either fix your biling system or introduce per second billing or give us a fact and convincing answer regarding the issue.

    Dear Pasi,
I cannot find 100 Rs Ncell card anywhere and I don't get bonus on 50 Rs card. If I buy 300 Rs, I spend it in 1 day. When will 100 Rs card be available?

  15. Dear Sir
can u introduce a new function of getting all services of ncell like zordiac, alerts, and all at one place under one icon in mobile phone menu? mm like indian telecom operators. it will be a sort convinience for subscribers so tht we need not to remember all the codes for services. u can replace tht dialing system with one icon system.

  17. dear sir pasi,
i want to know that why there is no unlimited packages for 1 month after payment in full for 1 month? is there any plans for implementing this unlimited packages for surfing internet in coming future?if yes then how much time it takes for implement? or, if not then why not?..it is very suitable for student like me if you introduce unlimited package system because we neednot have to check balance enquiry after surfing internet if there is unlimited packages. hoping you will reply to my curiosity.
connecting with ncell makes my life easy through good network.

  19. Dear Jay,
thank you for your comment. AirTel is a good company and India is 30 times bigger market place than Nepal. We also operate in 20 countries in Europe and Asia and could bring lot of new services into Nepal if there was good business case. With Customer Experience we are not ready and that's our focus right now.
    regards,
    Pasi

  20. Dear Santosh,
thank you for your comment. We are not bringing unlimited data packages to the market, due to capacity restrictions in radiowaves. If data would be unlimited, the explosion of usage would kill the good quality that we have.

    Pasi

  21. Dear aerosuriee,
thank you for your comment. We have similar handset approach in many of our markest elsewhere. Unfortunately, Nepalese market is too small for having a business case for such services.

  22. Dear Saroj,
thank you for your comment. We made a deep study on this issue couple of months ago. Our network is within the tolerance of "delays" which is not vendor depandant. NTC does not have the trasparency of sending End Call Notification so consumers cannot compare. We did, and the system works same way.
    Regards,
    Pasi
