After couple of months of exercising the use of social media in a personal level but in business, directly with Ncell customers, I am so pleased to feel energized because of your feedback. I do follow Facebook as well and I am very proud of our professional customer care people answering your questions. Please try to help them to help you better: please provide exact description of your problem and your contact number, it helps our other teams to be in touch with you quicker and more effectively. Other thing, please try not to bring specific network coverage or other issues related on your personal subscription to this blog. Due to time constraints, I am not able to follow your cases as personally as our call center or Facebook team. We want to give you a world class customer service and we have several teams helping you, call center and other direct customer officers are coordinating your request according to our processes. Let them to take care of you, they are pros.
What it comes to quality service, we have selected top customer experience as our main target to convince you to become, and stay as our subscribers. This is also the reason (sorryJ) that we have to charge more about our services than our competitors: we invest more, we optimize our network better, we do drive test continuously to ensure best connectivity, we try harder and it also costs more. At this light, please try not to compare our prices with competition…I’d also like to stay at Hyatt or Soaltee for USD 50 or less cause they offer the best hotel quality in Nepal. Our data speed is in the average five times more than competitor’s so we are Hyatt or Crown Plaza in the sense. Our competitors may see the low price as the main value driver for their customers, but we want to offer you the best quality service. Yes, you are right that prices are too high for a “common” Nepalese (as you describe) or maybe students with restricted income. But we really try to do our best in enabling more and more people to buy the fastest internet in Nepal. Hope you like our 50% decreased offer for 5000 MB data package; if we learn that this is one way of keeping you as our customers and get more of you joining us, we might consider further offers.
Network coverage is also essential part of the quality service. I just recently moved to new house and found out that 3G coverage is pretty awkward: only place where I could get my Ncell Connect card or iPad connected to high speed internet is at the balcony of the house. The reason being, the neighboring house is shadowing the signal and I had to make a “hot spot” at the terrace… It is not very convenient to sit outside, dark in the evening with all the insects reading Ncell business secrets at my screen. Noticed, that the guy next door is sitting in their family room for the same reason. When you are buying your Ncell Connect card, please make sure that there is coverage in your area. You can get better price for cable internet compared to EDGE. Putting a 3G network node to the tower costs several tens of thousands of USD and unfortunately, we can’t afford building coverage in every village very soon even I’d like to. But like in Kathmandu, we want to give you a good service. If you face problems like mine, please be in touch to our customer care and we try to fix it if doable with fair costs. And more you like us in big cities, the quicker we are providing 3G in rural areas too.
Hope you the best of health, prosperity and the most of fortune plus quality service from Ncell! Happy Dashain to everyone!
dear pasi, Plz provide Ncell Connect EDGE unlimited for rural area users @700 rs per month. Previously, Mero Mobile was providing such service with limited speed. It is ur responsibility to serve urban and rural users equally. EDGE Broadband internet is every where in the world. only 15 percent needs fastest internet, rest of other needs just 128kbps-256kbps.

ReplyDeleteI really like offer of 50% discount on 5000 mb data and 50 paisa per min in sajilo sim. Hope to get much more offers from Ncell in upcoming days. And ya Happy Dashain to u Mr. Pasi and whole ncell family.
ReplyDeletei just tried to login into my facebook account (was not more than 5Kb) sitting in my room. Loading...... Loading..... Loading...... and i waited for about 2 minutes but i couldn't get any progress and ran to my parents' room (from where BTS of ncell is on LOS), as soon as i entered into the room; i just amazed, a page opened in a second. What is it all of ncell?? What
ReplyDeletetype of network optimization are your engineers doing? Its a story of Itahari-4, Sunsari, Nepal.
Sir, most of Nepalese can't afford Hyatt or Soaltee. A middle-class guest house is the choice of most Nepalese. So you focus on the choice of most Nepalese rather than richs one. Otherwise just change your slogan as 'NCELL HERE FOR RICH'.
ReplyDeleteSir, On the very occasion, we the customers request you to provide free net for certain hours.
ReplyDeleteDear Saroj ji,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your feedback. You seem to have same kind of issue as I
described in my post: the signal is very much depending on neighbouring buildings, shape of the house, walls, windows, even weather. These local optimization challenges can be solved by our team visiting at the site only. You seemed to give your credentials at FB, thank you for letting us help you.
Regards,
Pasi
My data card becomes useless because there is no 3G service available at taudaha-chobar side.can we avail the service soon?
ReplyDelete@ Ncell data tariff of 5000mb for 1128rs must go on for always so that we can surf internet without any complain. So i request u to decrease the price of 500mb and 1000mb as compare to 5000mb for 1128rs.
ReplyDeleteIt wud be better if ncell provide iphone 3gs or iphone 4 in contract just like ncell had introduce blackberry in nepal. So that nepali people wud also could get to use iphone at reasonable price.
ReplyDeleteQuiet funny there that you compared your service with Hyatt or Soaltee and quiet frankly said that "well, if you can afford us we shall serve you better if not, please make your way". Its an irony that the brand that prides itself in claiming "here for Nepal" forgets the context of Nepal which it aims to serve. Definitely it has to invest more and make your service better than your rival which could make it expensive as well. These suggestions are not "give us free" but it's just a request to make it more reasonable so that more and more people could use it. If only Henry Ford hadn't thought well lets make the car cheaper so that everyone could use it or Benjamin Day hadn't thought lets make press worth penny so that everyone could read, well probably the cars and press would have been high-class object that 90% people can only see. No one here is wishing for Hyatt service but things they use everyday to be more reasonable so that they can use it every minute they want. If you can't offer it, well don;e make crude joke saying "If hyatt offers $50 or less room, i would stay at hyatt than my home. So just stop complaining if you can't afford it"
ReplyDeleteDear pasi .. When will the offer of recharge cards without any other extra charge be valid from?? I am still paying extra money for recharge cards..
ReplyDeleteDear Rabin ji,
ReplyDeletethank you for your comment, good call! I was trying to point out the service factor compared the price factor, maybe the Hyatt was a bit clumsy...anyway we talk about a service costing in the range of NPR 2000 for 2-3 week usage which is not very much higher than lowest prices at the market.
Regards,
Pasi
Dear Ashim,
ReplyDeletethank you for your comment. We will have something coming to fight back the overcharging. Please do not pay any extras, you don't have to.
Hi Pasi,
ReplyDeleteIt is great that I have found a way to reach to you quite fast. I see a lot of positive comments around here and felt the same way until lately.
I would like to respond to what you have said above, "we have selected top customer experience as our main target to convince you to become, and stay as our subscribers".
My responses & questions:
I got my first Mero Mobile SIM and BB Plan activated this afternoon. I was first asked to pay and made to wait for two and a half hours by your tech team and later told that my BB handset(BB Curve 9300 3G) was not compatible. When I asked for the refund of my BB plan, the executive said "not possible". When I again requested for at least the amount for BB Plan to be transferred to the voice plan, I again got the same answer.
I have two questions here:
1. If such a compatibility issue was foreseen by the executives and tech team, should they not have checked my device for compatibility with another SIM before issuing me a SIM and making me pay? The executives themself say that this is not the first case of device incompatibility. Should Ncell NOT try to to avoid such a problem from repeating to better customer experience and satisfaction?
2. My BB device has been working fine outside Nepal. I have successfully used the same model (not the same device) in two other countries as well. I believe there are quite a few NCell BB Plan subscribers successfully using the same model as well. I had asked the executive to give me the reason if possible as to why the BB Plan was not working in my device so that I could try and get assistance from BB / RIM directly but they could not provide much assistance on this. I keep wondering if the tech team had infact given enough time in resolving the issue?
I am already a user of your competition's service for long now. I would not mind paying a few extra bucks for better quality and service. I was today however made to pay for a service which I will most likely not even be able to use. I had high expectations from Ncell. The experience from my first Ncell service neither convinces me to become nor stay on as Ncell's subscriber. Right now, I can only hope that your operating procedures can translate your visions into reality so that Ncell can avoid dissatified customers like myself and soon reach a customer base of 10mil.
Good Luck!
Dear Shekhar ji,
ReplyDeletethank you for your feedback. The experience you have have got is no way Ncell way. I am really sorry! If you let us try once again, I'd take care that this time you will get appropriate service.

Pasi
Hi Pasi,
ReplyDeleteI bought two 500 Rupees Ncell recharge cards from 'PayWay Shop'.
But, one of the card did not recharge at all. ( I lost my 500 Rs. and time there). 2nd, The other card only recharged for 490.20 Rs. while previously it used to recharge full Rs. 500.
Who will fix this??
dear Pasi, it's been a while since Ncell introduced new recharge cards with no extra charges....but we are still paying extra charges....for how long do we have to pay extra money?
ReplyDeleteDear Deepesh,
ReplyDeleteplease do not pay any extra. Go to authorized dealer or Ncell centre, overcharging point of sales will run out of business. We will soon come out with a campaign to tell everybody that overcharging is unaceptable.
Regards,
Pasi
Dear Anish ji,
ReplyDeletebest is to go back to the same point you made the purchases. If you can, Ncell Centers are prepared to help too.

ReplyDeleteThe customer care number 9809005000 is not working from any other numbers besides ncell itself. As far as i know this is meant for other numbers besides ncell. And it has happpend so many times. whenever i call for a querry of my ncell connect, i call from a land line. But the above number does not work. So it is some technical issue of ncell is ignoring other telecom operators in the country.
ReplyDeleteDear Vishal,
ReplyDeletethank you for your comment. The call centre number is available from all others networks except NTC landline and prepaid, from NTC postpaid the call centre number is accessible but they have closed the access from landline and prepaid.Reommend that you take Ncell prepaid to stay connected.

Pasi
