After couple of years blogging to my friends and family about whereabouts in Korea, Cambodia and Nepal, I felt that I have to raise the bar. Social Media seems to become essential part of our daily lives in some form or another. I joined Facebook some seven years ago, it was then the best way to be in touch with my then teenage kids; they did not bother to reply my SMSs but were always alert on FB messages. LinkedIn is the other venue I have used to in order to be update on colleagues’ promotions, networks and sometimes have used it to offer a job.
What I like in blogging is the feeling of sharing. Sharing of thoughts, ideas, happenings or just expressing thoughts. Funny, how writing can be used therapeutically if you cannot express yourself in the speaker’s corner of Hyde Park. The park is nowadays in internet.
In this particular blog, I aim to concentrate in mobile telephony, especially in Nepalese context. Welcome everybody to participate, although we cannot solve our customer complaints at this venue. For any issues concerning Ncell services of your personal subscriptions, please be in touch either Ncell Call Center at 9005 or please email info@ncell.com.np. This blog is for Voice of Customer: if you have a general issue on mobile telephony or Ncell Services, please drop a line. We do moderate the comments at least for a certain period of time to see how this works; when looking at the post at the FaceBook fun site of Ncell, I sometimes wonder why people post such ugly language or point out something generic without facts. So please, no “Ncell sucks” posts or "put tower in my village". Yes, you can help in coverage issues but please email to above email address with the exact location and describe the issue. We are Here for Nepal. And Timro Lagi too.
And last; please excuse me if everything is not grammatically correct. English is a foreign language to me and I will not control my writing too much: I once made a spell mistake in a presentation of a strategic plan and wrote pig picture instead of big picture which are both correct in a sense. Boy we had fun at the meeting. :)

ReplyDeleteBut Ncell must consider the tariff as well as it is quite high.
Good Wishes 2 Ncell!
Welcome to u in blog. I have some suggestions as a long time customer of ncell. I don't like ur system of bringing anything conditional schemes which mostly uneducated ,villagers cann't know. All schemes have benifitted upper, middle class people. Don't u feel that large number of ur customers who are lower class are victimized by this strategy? Isn't it like exploit maximum from poor and provide cheap to rich? I hope ur organization take u-turn in terms of brining twisting, ambiguous and complicated schemes in a country like nepal. I hope u promote system like flat rate and distributing sim cheaply and eaisly.
ReplyDeleteThis is an excellent initiative and I wish you success in meeting friends of Ncell, and others with interest in your business, through this blog, which I am sure will help make Ncell even better for its customers.
ReplyDeleteSuccessful regards from Stockholm,

Well, the quality services provided by your company is really appreciable. I am the regular user of your service since 2007/6. In the very former period the Spice Nepal introduced the unlimited internet package. After some time it was closed. Don't know why? But i was always looking for the same thing. If possible, i will be looking for the same thing with reliable connection and bit high bandwidth.
ReplyDeleteGood luck !

ReplyDeleteSantu, hope you case is taken care of. Sorry! Roshan, Ncell offers only mobile internet: you can use it either with Ncell Connect data card or with your smart phone.
ReplyDeleteRegards,
Pasi from Ncell
For a country like Nepal, Ncell has given a wide platform and future of easy connection. Hope Ncell help build eco-friendly communication throughout globe and make Nepal, a country with industrial success.
ReplyDeleteDear Bhagwan,
ReplyDeletemobile internet is using airwaves in the air it self and it is a limited way to transfer data compared to fibre optics. When 3G was introduced in Finland some ten years ago, the network was empty with no users (no handsets available). As soon as people noticed that there is unlimited data transfer available, they begun downloading movies from the internet by 3G. So, the network will get congested and our money is not enough to built enough capacity:)
Dear Suraj,
ReplyDeletehaving a 100% perfect network quality is very challenging and in Nepal even more difficult. We had up to 16 hours of power cuts and we try to optimize the usage of power at the base stations. Because of no grid power, we have to use both batteries and diesel generators to keep towers online. Sometimes there is just enough reserves and the tower goes off. Nowadays we have better power situation thanks to rain. But again, mud and water sometimes makes it impossible to enter the site and turn it on or make maintanence. Unfortunately, 95% of the quality issues is about not having power at the towers and we are sorry for this. But we will use more the Nepalese Sun and will increase solar sites, also reducing the emissions of DG.
A very commendable move from Ncell CEO. I hope it is well received and people maintain their honor here. I really believe that this is going to be a great way to solve many customer-provider issues. Good luck!
ReplyDeletecustomercare staff dont have manners to talk with customer they talk so rudely with customer.customercare management should give them education to talk softly with cutomer.customer r god for every business organization as i think
